And at last ..
Title : And at last
Size : 11 x 9 inches
Medium : Acrylic on paper
All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's oh so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be
And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
- from movie Tangled
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's oh so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be
And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
- from movie Tangled

Green Land
Title : Green land
Size : 11 x 9 inches
Medium : Acrylic on paper
This is another landscape painting I tried with acrylic. I did few landscape paintings in watercolor, but unsuccessful. I always find difficulty in prospective of landscape, specially aerial prospective. While doing initial sketch for the painting I feel perfect, but when I start painting I feel it uneasy, and become nervous and ruin the painting. In this I found difficulty for the mountains. But somehow able to complete it.

My World
Title : My World
Size : 8x8 inches
Medium: Watercolor on paper
I visited my native few days back. I saw one photo in a news paper on mothers day. I thought of painting it in my own way. My twin nieces Khushi and Muskaan (10 yrs) both have so much passion for painting. So we took that photo as reference and we paint together. Below are the painting done by my nieces.

RED
Title : RED
Size : 9''x12''
Medium : water color on paper
I used only Red color for this. It was not my plan to use only red color, but after the sketch when I started painting it I was just loving to use this red color only. I don't know what might be the result if I use multiple colors, but I like this one. Hope u also like it.

Blooming Rose
Title : Blooming Rose
Size : 8x7 inch
Medium: Watercolor on paper
It has been quite long time I did any painting on flower. So I thought to do this one. I am not happy with the result. I don't feel the freshness in this what I was expecting. I think I did little overwork with the background which I did not like.

Graphite , charcoal and white color pencil
grey paper
Few days back I brought one scrapbook, which has many colored pages. I choose grey one to do this sketch. Usually I take more time to do pencil sketch, but for this I took less because I used charcoal for hair, eye which usually takes more time if I do it using graphite pencils. And also I did very little work on skin as this is paper itself if grey :) I had fun doing this.

... Just a Chick
I did this in last week in week days. I had a lot fun while doing this sketching. love the part of doing the fur. My sister was asking many times to do a chick painting/sketching. I am
not sure of how to do fur in water color painting, so thought of doing a sketch.
The good thing about sketching is I do not have to worry about arranging my art stuff. Just take the sketch book and pencils, and sit anywhere and can start. And also I can stop any time and can do later. And That's the reason I do sketching in weekdays. yeah also sometimes I do freehand doodles in watercolor for practice :) .
Hope u like this!
Thanks for visiting and have a good day!!!

My first attempt with Acrylic
Acrylic on Paper
Its a long time since I have posted anything, its almost 4 months. Actually I was quite busy in those days, so could not get time for painting.
This is my first attempt to paint with acrylic paint. I brought acrylic paint few months back. But never had courage to start with it. But last weekend I thought, just keeping it and thinking of failure is not a better idea, I should go ahead a make an attempt, whatever may be the result. And I did this painting and I am quite happy with the result.
Before starting I browsed about acrylic, like the nature of color - is it drys so fast and we need be working in that pace. I was aware that it drys so fast but I was not knowing that we can not reuse it once the color drys and I have wasted colors a lot. First time I found little difficulty, but overall its a nice experience.
