For me some time I get good some time not. Hence trying multiple time will help me to know the mistakes, improve it, and get the hold of it.

Paintings inspiratations from Shivanasamudra trip

Waiting for customers for coracle ride

An old bridge 

I visited to Shivanasamudra and Talakadu two weeks back. Though there was not much water in Shivanasamudra waterfalls but I still like the scenes around it. We came little down from that place and went for coracle ride. It was really nice. 

Whenever I visit any new place I get so much inspirations to paint :) I always carry my sketching kit with me, but somehow I missed to sketch or paint. I think I have to improve on that.  But I make sure to click lot of pictures for my painting reference. 

I know there is a lot of difference in painting on location and painting from a photo, but when I paint from photo of a place I visited I feel I am sitting in that place and I try to capture the mood what I experienced. I really enjoyed doing these paintings.

Flower is a most beautiful creations in the world. Each flower has different beauty and it should not be compare to other one.
When I paint flower, sometime I worry that I will be able to make it beautiful or not. Many times I fail and few time I succeed (not as beautiful as flower but I am satisfied). But what is important, with each failure I learnt something, which I have not if I didn't try.

This is painting of Yellow roses. I used mainly tree colours : yellow, green and brunt siena

Sarvanbelagola is located in Hassan district of Karnataka. This is a pilgrimage destination for Jainism. This is also famous for the statue of Bahubali.

This photo is taken by husband during our recent visit to Hassan. I loved the light and shadow pattern in this and tried to capture that in my painting.

Marigold

 Two paintings. Start painting again almost after 3 to 4 months. Feeling so good to start again. Its rainy day in bangalore. Lots of moisture in the air. takes lots of time to dry, its a different experience. Hope to paint and post regularly.

I did this painting with still life setup. Though I thought it is a good composition but in the middle of painting I didn't like. But I completed the painting. I need to work more on still life composition.
